CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER – ORDER TO CASH (CHUUK)

The Customer Service Officer – Order to Cash(CSO-OTC)  manages and maintains the office, and is a point of contact for Vital’s customers. A crucial part of a Customer Service Officer’s role is to build and provide good contact relationships with customers, encourage other employees and customers to turn in paperwork in a timely manner, resolve day-t-day administration issues, and make sure paperwork is filled properly. The CSO-OTC is responsible for maintaining an adequate, sufficient and clean workplace and is expected to provide administrative information to both employees and customers. Customer Service Officers are also responsible for such tasks as:

  • Providing quotations to customers;
  • Receiving customer ordrs;
  • Preparing required delivery documents;
  • Scheduling deliveries;
  • Processing accounts receivables and payables transactions;
  • Preparing inventory movement documentations and adjustments; and
  • Reconciling statement of accounts and stock inventory in line with company policy and procedure, work instruction manual and control guidelines.

The role of a Customer Service Officer therefore requires strong customer service, communication and administrative skills. This CSO-OTC will be based in Chuuk.

Qualification & Experience

Customer Service Officers at Vital are considered an administrative role and as such, are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to their role and responsibilities at all times. Customer Service Officers are further expected to have the ability to work with the following programs:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • PetroX System
  • MAS 500

Essential:

  • 2 years or more of work experience in customer service;
  • 2 years or more of work experience in the administrative field;
  • 2 years or more of work experience in a role with people and office management responsibilities, developing the ability and confidence to work with limited supervision;
  • A solid understanding of the administration field, customer service; and

Associates Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field

Desirable:

  • Experience in professional customer service and professional communication skills
  • Operations experience in the wider energy industry
  • Advanced computer skills
