We are currently seeking the right candidate for the position of:
TERMINAL OPERATOR (Chuuk)
The Terminal Operator will work as part of the Chuuk Terminal team. The Terminal Operator works under the supervision of the Officer-in-Charge, to assist in the overall operations of the bulk plant facilities. This will include but is not limited to operations in tanker loading, unloading, bunkering, tank to tank transfer, storage handling, distribution, and facility preventive maintenance and repair functions. Additionally, the Terminal Operator will carry out the receipt, storage, handling and deliveries of company petroleum products or materials in bulk or in packages within the facility or to customer locations or storage tanks while effectively ensuring maximum safety and efficiency, and correct quantity and quality integrity.
The Terminal Operator will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and basic repair tasks on facility equipment and assets. S/he is to ensure that all tasks performed are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with the company’s operating procedure guidelines.
Knowledge & Experience
We are seeking individuals with:

| – 2 years College Diploma or Certificate in related field; – 2 years of transferrable work experience in the petroleum industry; – 2 years of work experience in a role with people and the ability and confidence to work with limited supervision; and, – A solid understanding of health and safety with the ability to translate it into procedures. | – More than 2 years of transferrable work experience in energy or petroleum industry; – and/or CPR & First Aid certification. |
